Default Which Way to GWAMM

I have 28/30 titles towards GWAMM, 29 once I complete the last eotn rep title.
I was wondering what would be the easiest title to get 30. The only viable ones I see left are Luxon (675 000 points so far) and Master of the North (450 points so far). Which one of these would be easier to complete before the release of Guild Wars 2?

I'd recommend the EotN title since it doesn't rely on other individuals for completion. By that I mean, seeing as the player activity in guild wars is declining, you probably don't want to be overly dependent on others. The luxon/kurzick title heavily depends on somewhat competent players to grind faction quickly (via speed clear vanquishing). This would be your only option to acquire faction quickly enough to possibly obtain GWAMM before the release of GW2.

On the other hand, the EotN title can be done relatively quickly with a group of heroes. Unfortunately with the recent portal door glitch nerf most speed clears no longer work. This will likely make it difficult to complete hard mode dungeons. Be prepared for a challenge and bring party wide death penalty removal. There are still multiple active pve guilds that might be able to help you.

Last max title that would be somewhat easy to obtain is Wisdom (depending on the amount of money you possess). Supply of unidentified gold items may be a problem though.

Best of luck!

Master of the North is less time consuming.
You will need a massive amount of points for the luxon title, and you probably won't get that before GW2 unless you MQSC all day and night.

I disagree with the above due to the fact for the duration of the festival you get double faction points but no double points towards master of the north.

The festival is likely to last till the 30th, so even though farming mount qinkai over and over (even if you won't do sc's) is more boring, due to the double points it is faster.

Master of the north by a million miles, Faction titles are some of the biggest to get and you have a very VERY long way to go.

What you have completed for you master of the north title? With little help available, some of the HM dungeons will be near impossible, but if all you need is vanquish and cartographer then absolutely, it can be done in time.

Really those dungeons are not that impossible.
If you simply vanquish and cartograph everything first, you can skip both nm and hm slavers exile for example completely.

Only challenges that remain would be vloxen excavations and frostmaws burrows, both can be done when you read the wiki a bit.

If Underworld Hard Mode can be done with just heroes; All the dungeons in EotN can be done in hard mode with just heroes too (I know, I've done them). Just means you'll have to start thinking about how you play instead of c-spacing everything, and the builds you bring instead of just PvXing it all the time like most do.

But if you prepare well for each area/dungeon, you should be fine without having to use any consumables whatsoever.

Master of the North would be where I go with this.

If your Luxon is only at 675,000 points that means you would need another 9,225,000 points which, if you're not familiar with how to farm these points very quickly (which sounds like you don't) can take a long time. You can absolutely do any of the EOTN dungeons even in HM with just heroes.

----------

Worst case and you have problems with HM'ing any of the EOTN dungeons you can always use the GW Guru Services boards and get someone to help you with them.

This simply isn't true. These days, wiki and gwpvx are all you need to walk through every dungeon, except maybe slaver's (but I haven't done it in years, so I'm not sure; tbh, it seems like it should be pretty straightforward with 7 heroes, too). You might die a few times on some of the walks if you're lazy or not very good, but that's fine. Hero parties are so silly now that you don't really even need to worry about bringing specific skills for specific dungeons if you don't want to.

And yeah, if you vanq and map first, you'll have fewer dungeons to do.

The only eotn dungeon that is even counts as hard is if you are a W/ trying to do SoO, and even then it's just a case of modifying your bars a little.

I'm relatively new to GW, and I've recently done all the EoTN dungeons (except Slaver's Exile) on NM and HM, first time in, by myself with heroes. I did find a few frustrating, but it was far from un-doable.

I would also say Master of the North. You have a LONG way to go for the other one.

Not to beat the dead horse but EOTN, you would regret it if you do luxon title (which is possible) in such a short time. I pushed myself during the bday week as it also double pts for the week. Since it was my last possible PVE max title (#36) couple guildmate and I went all out. It took me the entire week to finish the title and yes i was MQSC for around 7 hrs per day never again.

Your at 675k mean you still got 9.3M to go or 2.3M pts during double faction. SC with a pug group you can do 4-5 run per hr ~50k pts. Which mean you need 46~47hrs, if you preorder you have 4 days left. So unless you can do 11+hr SC per day its not possible (if you haven't done MQSC before you can try is not hard, but you would literary want to throw up after 4-5 hrs lol).

If you ask a month ago, definitely luxon. But it would be EXTREMELY repetitive providing you have only 4,5 days to go. VQ and mapping is very boring and time-consuming to me (yes, even worse than faction farm), but at least you can keep doing it for hours w/o life over the coming few days.

A reminder about meeting the requirements for Master of the North - assuming you scrape the walls for the cartography points and finish all primary quests in both NM & HM, and vanquish all the areas... you can then COMPLETELY SKIP Slaver's in both NM & HM and still have the 1,000 points you need for MotN.

I did make an error before, I'm actually at 6.75mil points for faction but based on your replies I have decided it would be more enjoyable to do Master of the North. I am an elementalist (I have survivor). Do you guys have any suggestions for vanquishing and HM dungeons? Those are the main two that I need (Carto will come with vanquish).

In these halcyon days of seven heros, not really. 3 Me, 2 N and 2 Rt and you can steamroll everything.

Use an ST ritualist for frostmaw's burrows, shards of orr, and catacombs of kathandrax; the other areas are steamroll with wiki builds.
